LILA offers a diverse selection of clubs—approximately 40 at last count—all driven by the students themselves. They take the lead in founding clubs, defining their purpose, setting objectives, recruiting members, running meetings, and organizing events.
This student-led approach fosters a dynamic and active club environment. Opportunities range from the LILA Gazette, a student-run newspaper, to activism groups focused on raising awareness and driving change on important issues. Students can also join special interest clubs that bring people together through shared hobbies like poetry, mountain biking, and line dancing, or delve into academic pursuits with clubs dedicated to physics, computer science, and naturalism.
No matter what interests a student has, there’s likely a club that fits. And if not? It’s an opportunity to start a new one!
