The International Baccalaureate® (IB) and French Baccalaureate (FB) are among the most prestigious college preparatory programs in the world, opening doors to top universities across North America, Europe, and beyond.
For students seeking an intellectually stimulating and internationally focused education, the International Baccalaureate® offers learners independent research opportunities and the chance to develop a deep understanding of global issues. With a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary learning and real-world application, the IB fosters curiosity, adaptability, and a lifelong love of learning—skills that set students apart in an increasingly interconnected world.
Grades 9 & 10: Pre-IB
Our pre-IB program equips rising scholars with the essential skills and knowledge needed to confidently transition into the full IB Diploma experience. During these formative years, students engage in dynamic preparatory coursework and collaborative group projects, mastering time management, critical thinking, and effective communication—the very pillars of the IB learner profile.
Open to all rising 9th and 10th graders, this program provides a welcoming gateway to the IB Diploma Programme, ensuring that language is never a barrier to academic achievement. Our vibrant community thrives on the seamless integration of pre-IB, FB, and IB students, fostering a rich environment of shared learning and cultural exchange.
Grades 11 & 12: International Baccalaureate® Diploma Programme
Respected by leading universities worldwide, the IB Diploma Programme is a comprehensive, two-year curriculum that champions student autonomy, independent research, and intellectual inquiry. Here, students are challenged to push boundaries through extensive writing, innovative projects, and a range of oral examinations, all designed to cultivate a reflective, in-depth understanding of each subject.
The Diploma Programme is built on a robust framework that includes a transdisciplinary core curriculum that fosters the IB Learner Profile traits, alongside six academic subject groups, ensuring a balanced and enriching educational experience.
Each student in the IB Diploma Programme engages in three components that are at the core of the program: a 4,000-word extended essay that is written over a year, a Theory of Knowledge course that encourages students to reflect critically on their learning and draw connections between what they have learned in each of their courses, and a CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) program that encourages students to be involved in the community and pursue their extracurricular interests.
This cohesive, programmatic approach not only prepares students for the demands of higher education but also instills the skills necessary for success in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
